One of the easist and fastest to establish milkweeds, supports monarch butterflies as well as many other pollinators. Grows in average, well-drained soils in full sun but can tolerate poor or dry soils. Easily spread by seed or root cuttings.
Plant seeds directly into the soil in the fall or start your seeds indoors, 4-8 weeks before the average date of last frost. Cold stratification for 30 days required for indoor sowing.
