Rubus ulmifolius, or thornless blackberry, is a fruit shrub which can be cultivated in gardens, edges and hedges. The edible fruit is used to make jam, cakes and liquors. It has diuretic properties, buccal and astringent ones. This evergreen has a few pinky flowers,and oval, serrated leaves, and adapts very well to any type of soil.
